I'm a paragraph. Click here to add your own text and edit me. It’s easy. Just click “Edit Text” or double click me to add your own content and make changes to the font. Feel free to drag and drop me anywhere you like on your page. I’m a great place for you to tell a story and let your users know a little more about you.
My art is all about what William Wordsworth in "The Prelude" called “spots in time.” Each piece represents a memory of a time and/or place that remains with me in all its color, texture, and emotional impact. Every work is a recollection of the sights and senses that linger in my heart and mind as a result of being in just the right place at the right time to participate in an experience that is forever a part of me.
Mixed media attracted me because it offers a depth and range of textures, surfaces, treatments, color, shapes and sizes broad enough to capture extravagant memories. Materials used may include acrylic painting, watercolor, wax crayon, handmade paper, computer enhanced digital photographs, patterned paper, maps, postage stamps, ephemera, lettering, quotations, pop culture images, stencils, stamped tissue paper, and found objects.
These images share with others my “spots in time” just as a postcard sent home proclaims, “Wish you were here.”
